their own personal website, but within the myartspace website thus having the
benefits of the traffic flow into the community, the advanced design and eCommerce
tools, and the low ongoing costs of sustaining that presence.  Becoming a member of

their presence. myartspace  is supported by both proprietary and user-generated
content including blogs, reviews and critiques, forums, happenings/events and

About myArtSpace

1963-1968: Warhol's Factory is host to a number of artists, musicians, and
other influential figures who participate in the free exchange of ideas. It
serves as a central location for both art-making and extreme forms of
socialization. It radically invigorates the art community.

2006: A technological revolution has changed the way art is made. As a
logical reaction, this intersection of art and technology forges a new
concept in the way art is transacted both within and outside
of its own sphere:
myartspace.com.

Breathing life into the art community, myartspace connects artists in a way
they've not been connected before. Not only can a member of myartspace
build, display, and sell their works in digital galleries, they can also be
a part of something much, much bigger than themselves. Personal websites can
link together, forming a vast online community of like-minded individuals.

Artists on-the-rise, already established artists, teachers, collectors,
galleries, and any interested parties can join-for free-with nearly endless
possibilities. Forums, reviews, events and happenings, editorial content,
and sponsored competitions organized by the myartspace management team are
just the beginning. So.get ready for the next big thing.

MyArtSpace's first annual competition gives you the chance to claim your
spot in the shade
- Enter your work to win a Retreat to the Riviera -

August 1948: In Golfe-Juan, France, Robert Capa captures Picasso holding an
umbrella over his young lover, Francoise Gilot, shielding her from the
blistering Riviera sun. Picasso's nephew bemusedly looks on, remarking the
great man willingly becoming the minion. This beautiful, funny, ironic
moment, frozen in time, is still engaging nearly 60 years later.

May 2002: P. Diddy is photographed in the South of France on vacation, being
shaded from the sun by an umbrella, held by Farnsworth Bentley. The
photographs are circulated around the world in all types of print and
digital media. Soon, all of Hollywood seems to have a "Personal Umbrella
Handler."

May 2006: You log onto myArtSpace.com, upload up to 5 jpegs of your art or
photography, and win an all expense paid trip to the French Riviera.
