BIOGRAPHY

I am a proudly South African artist - born in 1984 and home-grown in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng. I have always loved drawing and find personal peace and freedom in the creation process, especially when experimenting and combining different mediums.

After studying Graphic Design at the Vaal University of Technology and attaining my B Tech with Cum Laude, I worked and lived in Johannesburg and then Pretoria (or Tshwane), before settling in Cape Town, where I now work as artist in my studio at home or on site armed with my camera.

Thank you so much....I'm glad you like it....I didn't spend as much time on it as I usually do. I have somemore earth art ideas ...maybe I can get to them soon. Right now I'm busy preparing proposals and narratives and organizing my art for an upcoming call for entries in Houston. I hope I get picked. Thanks again. Maybe i can have a show in Africa? and they would fly me there? yeah right? dreaming again. Doug .
