BIOGRAPHY
Jescia Hoffman has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Minnesota State University Moorhead with emphases in Drawing and Printmaking. Hoffman is a native of Mandan, North Dakota. Her narrative work is influenced by mythology, symbolism, religion and personal introspection. She is a 2-year recipient of the Excellence in Art and Design Scholarship, as well as the Freshman Talent in Art and Design Scholarship from the MSUM Art and Design Department. Hoffman has received numerous awards from juried and other regional art exhibits, including Juror's Choice, People's Choice, and Dean's Award, among others. In high school, Hoffman created an Art Club and founded an annual student art exhibit, which is now in its sixth year. Her work has been exhibited around North Dakota, including Fargo’s Plains Art Museum. Hoffman plans to attend graduate school and pursue a career as a professional artist and teach at the university level.
