BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Brazil where I studied photography and jewelry design. I settled in the U.S. where I have been developing my career as an artist. My main mediums are painting and mixed media.
My works have been included in group exhibitions at Southern Exposure, SOMArts, Mission Cultural Center in San Francisco, Sanchez Art Center in Pacifica and recently at San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art in San Jose. I have also received a merit Award from Artisans Gallery in Mill Valley in 2002 and Third Prize at Sola Show 2006 juried by

I had my first solo exhibition in November 2002 at H. Biron Gallery and her last solo installation, CLOSER and CLOSER at Levy Art and Architecture in San Francisco. I have also participated in the San Francisco Open Studios for five years.
My work has been published in the Northern California Artists book, released by Alcove Books in March 2003 and in the Art Collectors book released in April, 2004 and 2006. I was also selected for an entry in the Woman Made Gallery Datebook - 2004.
I was also invited to lecture on my artwork at MCCLA for the exhibition Visionary Women on March 2nd, 2005 in San Francisco, CA and was nominated to represent Brazil in the 2005 Florence Biennale of Contemporary Art in Italy and recently invited to participate in the Hearts and Heroes, a public art to be displayed around the City of San Francisco.
