BIOGRAPHY

self taught, learned the rudiments in the army and then just started to take photos and develop my eye and skills.....frankly I am still doing that, trying new things always embracing new technology, experimenting constantly......recurring themes are the nude female....sensual, erotic and sculptural....continually challenging.....I also enjoy shooting real people in real situations...a bit romantically inclined, preferring out of the way and outdated situations, avoiding the modern ways of life.....always a camera at my side, never know when a fleeing image or moment is presented and so much to see and capture......

I am going to Prague in 2 weeks (that's where I came from to Canada, Toronto in 70s). I have a studio in T.O. and preparing a show of my still lives based on Chiaroscuro style. Maybe we'll meet one day...M .

I really appreciate all the abrupt changes of work displayed in your series. Most are so captivatingly real that I doubt their authenticity. Like the spur atached to the bare foot is that for real or did you manipulate that image. Your digital editing with painted nudes into photo scenes are great too but there are some digital manipulations that aren't as magical. Your cutting and pasting photo figures into other photos doesn't come across as caring. Your Methodology keeps me guessing how you acomplish these pieces. .
