BIOGRAPHY
Colleen Appleton Critcher is an abstract painter. Her unique work reflects her interests in philosophy and astronomy. She is sometimes referred to as the "circle painter." Colleen's work is most often appreciated for its bold color and striking images.
Colleen earned a Bachelor of Arts from Francis Marion University. While at Francis Marion, she received the John W. Baker Fine Arts Scholarship and the Peggy Love McLaughlin Art Award. She graduated summa cum laude in 2002.
Colleen actively exhibits her work throughout South Carolina. Her work has been exhibited throughout the state in museums, galleries and art festivals. Her paintings have become part of private collections both nationally and internationally.
