BIOGRAPHY
Andrea Nicholas Vendramin, a painter, sculptor, architect, activist, and educator was born in Venice, Italy on April 20, 1969. He holds dual citizen ship, the Mother is from Michigan and the Father from Venice , Italy. He received a Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Planning in 2000 from the Institute University of Architecture of Venice. He attended the High School of Art & Architecture of Venice from 1983-1988 and was awarded a High School Diploma Maestro d'arte in 1988. Mr. Vendramin came to the United States in 1984 to attend Cape Elizabeth High School in Maine and was selected as the first freshman in the history of the High School to participate in the Maine Summer Institute of Art 1985 in Sculpture and Painting. ¾Ãââs he studied painting, craft and other fine arts skills from some of the most talented and famous Italian artists and architects. Between 1990 - 2002, Mr. Vendramin was commissioned on numerous design projects including fresco and paintings for residence and public spaces.
The artworks of Andrea Vendramin have been exhibited in Italy and the US including the International Exhibition sponsored by SothebyÃÆÃâÃâÃÂ¢ÃÆÃ¢Ã¢ââ¬Ã
¡ÃâÃÂ¬ÃÆÃ¢Ã¢ââ¬Ã
¾Ãââs in Rome, Italy and the Venetian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. He has also exhibited at the Bevilacqua la Masa Foundation in Venice, Institute University of Architecture Venice in 1991. Mr. Vendramin the director for the United State Center for the Study of Neoclassic Decorations and Restoration based in Venice named Associazione Scientifica Pallazzo Capello di Venezia. In 1988, Andrea Vendramin and Mr. Massimo Pagan, the director of Comedy of Art in Venice and Professor of Drama and Art of Improvisation at Venice University, found the Dirmipicistic Movement, an Art Movement involving photography, theatre, sculpture, film, and mixed media. In 1997, Andrea N. Vendramin was part of one of the teams that worked on the reconstruction of the Fenice Opera House burned in Venice, Italy and reconstructed by Architect Aldo Rossi.
