BIOGRAPHY

Ghassan Ghazal is born in 1961 in Lebanon. He holds a Bachelor and a Master degrees in Visual Arts from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM). His main artistic practices are: painting, sculpture, photography and installations. Recipient of numerous prizes, he made over 20 solo and collective installations in Canada and abroad. His pieces are part of many private collections in Canada and abroad.

Damn right its you! That's great! I invented a new work once that is a hybridization of several words: BIOMECHANICLASM. This term refers to the destruction of biomechanics, and is almost synonymous with counter-inuition, which is of particular usefullness to artists who, like Matisse, have to work against mechanized body movements, even intuitive mental movements, to acheive a truly spontaneous and creatively free result. I love your new word! When I use it I will attribute it to you. .

I like the term used used, 'metaportrait,' I'd never heard it before, although I understand immediately its importance. Do you know who pioneered this term? .
