BIOGRAPHY
Lili Maya is an artist with a diverse background in art and design. Research interests include literature, systems theory, psychoanalytic theory and sound. Formally and conceptually, bookmaking, drawing and painting have consistently been components of her creative process; as a result, traditional media practices are integral to her digital media work. Currently, she is working with drawing, painting, still image, video and sound to build interactive and non-interactive installations. She graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with an MFA in Digital + Media and a BFA in Graphic Design.
She teaches at MICA - Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore.
