BIOGRAPHY
Stephanie Hoff Clayton was born in Birmingham, Alabama USA in 1965. She received a B.A. in Art Studio from Tulane University, 1994. Since 1998, she has been residing in the British Virgin Islands with her husband.
After relocating to the islands, Stephanie’s work began to evolve from representational to non-figurative.
In 2007, she began a body of work she calls The Paradise Project.
The artist has received many awards & distinctions, including the Overture to the Cultural Season Scholarship. Her art is part of several international collections, including Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Florida. She maintains two studios: One on the island of Tortola; and another near Miami, Florida. Her studios are open by appointment.
