BIOGRAPHY
Judy Kushner is a self-taught artist and musician who is interested in creating ambience and mood through her paintings. Her inspiration comes from a highly refined visual sense but also a desire to capture the “visual” aspect of melody by using textures and colors that have been described as “risky and elegant.” Combining several different techniques and processes to create her paintings, the end result are richly textured works on paper and canvas. Originally from Detroit, she now lives and works in Los Angeles.
