BIOGRAPHY
Else M. Rasmussen was born in Denmark 1979. and currently lives and works in Aarhus.
In 1998 she moved to Nottingham to study; Foundation studies in Art and Design at Clarendon College, during her studies, she got accepted at The Funen Art Academy in Odense, Denmark. She started her Danish education in 1999 and finished in 2004. She studied painting the first 2 years and graphics and multi-media the last 3 years of her degree.
After working as an artist and art-teacher for 1 1/2 year she decided to go back to England to studie at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. In 2006 she succesfully finished a Post-Graduate Diploma course in Fine Art.
She works diversely within her art practise, with many different medias.
Her main focus is on identity and enquiring questions concerning this issue, often using on her own life experiences to talk about the different topics.
