BIOGRAPHY
Kahori Kamiya was born in 1980 in Japan and moved to New York in 2006. She currently lives and works in New York. She received a MFA in Tokyo and graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a MFA.
Kamiya has presented at four solo shows in Tokyo and participated in a large variety of group shows over the world such as, New York, Tokyo, Russia, and Thailand. In addition, she received a few awards and several of her artworks belong to public collections.
Recently, she was participating the group exhibition that curated by Dan Cameron and titled “A New Currency” held in New York (Lower Eastside in Manhattan and in Chelsea). Also, she is a part of the show “Superheroes/Supervillains” curated by Laura Spector at the Look At This Gallery in Thailand.
