According to Catherine "Emotions are an important part for everyone that reaches an inner need in everyone to feel. Like a good meal that nurtures the soul, everyone enjoys the gratification of their emotions in a strengthening and uplifting way". Catherine Skiba's use of vibrant colors and rich subjects combined with her artistic talents to capture reality in an abstract form make her painting unique. More than a mere execution of the image in front of her, Catherine can create an atmosphere involving elements of life evoking a mood that feels more real than life on its own.
