Dan was born and raised in the mid west.
In 1990 Dan earned a BFA from Kansas State University, and in 1992, a MFA in Printmaking and Ceramics from Fort Hays State University.
He has taught Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Design, Sculpture, and many General Ed art classes at several colleges and Universities within the last 15 years. These include The University of Nebraska at Kearney, Bradley University, in Peoria Illinois, Mid-Plains Community College, in North Platte Nebraska, and Yavapai College, in Arizona.
His work in printmaking, painting and sculpture is represented in collections all over the United States and Canada
