BIOGRAPHY
Growing up in Eastern Michigan, I dreamed of becoming one of three things; a jockey, a veterinarian or an artist. Unfortunately, life had a different path for me. I grew too tall to race horses, the schooling involved in becoming a veterinarian was far beyond my financial reach and an attempt to be practical sent me to study Engineering instead of art. Twenty years later and after 15 years in the Engineering field, I finally came to my senses and am pursuing a new version of those little-girl dreams. I am currently a third year student studying at Kendall College of Art & Design for a BFA in Illustration. I work part-time as a Veterinary Assistant and I drive ponies in my spare time. How is that for a compromise?
