The creative process is a kind of dialogue between myself and the medium. Having worked for years in the language & communication field as well as in the management, there was a moment in my time in Chicago, language changed into visual language. ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâàat the SAIC (School of the Art Institute Chicago) to get connected to digital art. The combination of several art techniques - the traditional ones (in particular drawing and painting) and the digital tool - became my medium. My areas of interest are the creation and exploration of image comositions & variations, new dimensions thru underlying structures and shapes, visual language. So it is evident that I chose the digital tool for my work. In my photographic work I am fascinated by architecture & urban scenes. In my photographic work I want that the image is perceived differently. An ordinary scene becomes extraordinary ... and so much more. Message is sent. Color & composition are critical. It's about my focus on us & our environment. My personal engagement in art is to make our environment visible.
