BIOGRAPHY

Although I was born in Kansas City, I now live in Colorado. As a professional lettering artist and graphic designer for most of my adult life, abstract painting is a way to get away from that world of legibility, boundaries, and deadlines in the graphic design business. The lettering and calligraphy influence my paintings, but the fun part is making strokes without making letters....just composition.
