Vincent Knaus is a photographer based Washington DC metro area with years of experience creating images for publishers, corporations and graphic designers.
At 5 years old Vincent took a photograph that he remembers to this day. With a nice IRS refund check, Vincent purchased his first 35mm camera at age 17. He graduated from the College of Fine Arts at the University of South Florida with a BA in Studio Art / Photography. Larger projects that he has been involved with include more than 25 textbooks and annual reports for organizations such as the American Red Cross, American Health Care Association, StayWell and Mosby Lifeline.
Vincent spent seven years as a stay at home dad with his two sons Michael and Daniel. "I am very glad I had the opportunity to be a Mr. Mom." he says, "It was a great experience.” It was also a time that he spent making the transition from film to digital images.
