BIOGRAPHY
Samuel Toro Rosa was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico January 31, 1978. His back round is as unique and varied as his work. Samuel finished a Bachelor in Science with a major in Biology and a minor in Psychology. Later he went on to study Medicine where he completed 3 years; later to find out the process was so dehumanizing and unbearable that he had the courage to go full time for what he always wanted to do, Art. He went on to do Art Studio in Escuela de Artes Plasticas in San Juan, Puerto Rico and later went on to Hunter College to be part of the MFA program which he completed in May, 2007. He has been active both in the national and international art scene and is part of important collections in USA (NYC, L.A. and Miami), Puerto Rico, Spain (Barcelona), U.K. (London) and Thailand (Bangkok). In the future I want to keep developing my work as I have been doing during the past years.
