BIOGRAPHY
Andrew grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan, and graduated in 2005 from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts honours degree in studio painting and art theory. He currently focuses his work on large scale, obsessively detailed oil and acrylic paintings and pencil drawings and since 2008 has worked in video, sculpture, and text-based work. His art has been featured in public and private exhibitions and collections in North America and England, and in 2005 he was the sole painter to represent Canada in the worldwide Francophonie Games in Niger, Africa. Such credentials have earned him a reputation as one of Canada's most promising young artists. In 2009, Andrew will complete a Master of Fine Arts at the internationally renowned Chelsea College of Art in London, England.
