BIOGRAPHY

Joseph grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He studied Sculpture at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, receiving his B.F.A. in 2005.

After graduating, Joseph showed work around the city, working with INSITE, a public art organization focusing on temporary works, and the Milwaukee Artist's Resource Network. He also served on the Steering Committee for the Milwaukee Arts Incubator project.

In 2006, he moved to Tokyo, Japan, where he continues to work. He recently showed at Zuishoji Art Projects, a gallery space located inside the grounds of a Zen temple, with his girlfriend and occasional collaborator Mayuko Kono.
