Nicolau Campos was born in Valongo. Currently living in Lisbon.
With academic studies in drawing from “Infante Dom Henrique” and “Conde de Ferreira” schools and painting studies at “Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes” and “Centro Cultural de Belem”.
He is nowadays a member of Silence Speaks International Artist Association-USA, Associação dos Artistas Plásticos de Carcavelos, Associação de Escultura e Arte Contemporânea, Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes, Conectarte- Spain and L'agenzia di arte- Italy
He’s specialties are based: Utopias, vanguards, redefining art’s formalism and abstracting concepts, post-modernism and new ways of contemporarily.
He was the Portuguese painter to be selected to the “Harvests of New Millenium” (edition 2008 with three published artworks).
Frequently expositions since 2001, in Portugal with galleries and museums. Also abroad with expositions in Spain, France, Italy and Great Britain. His artworks are belonged in different collections in Portugal, Spain, France, Israel, Ireland, USA and Canada.
