BIOGRAPHY
Janina McCormack was born in 1984 in Staten Island, New York and showed artistic ability and interest at a young age. During her high school career, she took courses in painting and printmaking at the Art Student’s League. Her undergraduate studies at Hunter College focused on painting and silkscreen printmaking. During college, she also worked at galleries such as White Cube in London, Art In General in New York, and institutions The Art Commission of the City of New York and The Hispanic Society of America. After receiving a BA in 2006, she moved to Warsaw, Poland where she is focusing on making and exhibiting artwork as well as performing.
