ARTIST STATEMENT
A davis ca native, artist Tim Lane comes to painting with an extensive background in color, composition and design. coupled with graphic design for over 10 years, Tim turned his creative endeavors toward painting and graphic design full-time.
Utilizing his training in the arts, Tim combines the sensitivity of realism with the freedom and expression of abstraction creating compelling works of dimension that posess a story-telling quality left to the interpretation of the viewer.
