BIOGRAPHY
I just came back from SVALBARD - islands near the northpole. To investigate for my next project: "Svalbard odyssey; chased by Polar bears". Svalbard is the most amazing place. You can´t go outside a door without a ShotGun, cause Polar Bears can attack at any time. There are abandoned cities, amongst them a Russian city, where the groceries are still in the stores!!!! .........................................................................
I am a painter, do installation/sculpture, draw, a little video, poetry, private investigating ...................................................................
Just invited to the Istanbul Biennale by the Triangle Project, Offered a recidency at The Florence Trust Studios, London. Participated in Celeste Art Prize Finalist Show, London and Edinburgh Having my solo exhibition at Roskilde Gasworks(see pics), finishing a city investigation project I made in NEW YORK with my artist group FMstereo in May 2007; and especially finishing my degree; - I am quite excited, busy and having fun;-) ............................................................
I work with abandoned places and desolate spaces, "The Uncanny" and "The Enigmatic". Primarily painting, but also building models of wood and cardboard and sometimes sowing.
