BIOGRAPHY
I was born in the north of Portugal where I lived untill I was 15 years-old. In 2004 I moved to Wrexham, North Wales, with my parents and there I finished school and completed a BTEC National Diploma in Photography at Yale College. During my time in Wrexham, apart from developing my interest and practice in different forms of Art, I photographed and designed posters for a lot of local events, mainly gigs, and did promotional shots for local bands.
In 2008 I was accepted in the University of Wales, Newport, where I am currently completing a BA(Hons) in Photographic Art.
I see myself as a creative individual who uses Art as a form of expression and communication. Although photography is the medium I use the most, I do also work with other mediums such as painting, collage and video. My work is generally based on life itself, exploring different feelings and concepts as well as the visual aspect of the world as a mundane place.
