BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Turkey and moved to UK in 1995 . I went to Art collage as a mature student in London and graduated in Fine Art Painting (BA Hons) at City & Guilds of London Art School in 2002. Shortly after that one of my work was chosen for the Royal Academy Summer Show 2003, It was the first on the "Top 10 List ", With that, press all over the world covered it. Unfortunately it got pull down with possible copyrigts issues. After that I took few years of from the "Art World". In 2006 I started to show with a local Gallery, and since then I've been joining group shows as well as doing an "Artist in Residency" in various galleries / venues, During the residencies I make sure I paint in the gallery window so different stages of creating a painting could be viewed by public . This performance got very good reactions so far from viewers as well as covered by the press.
I love experimenting with different mediums but mainly paint in oil. Photography and computers are also mediums that I use either as sketching tools or in their own right.
