BIOGRAPHY
Felicity Hand is a name I've been called
I've loved art before I crawled.
Finger paints and markers on the wall
Mom said no, but I didn't listen at all.
In junior high I doodled when I was bored.
That got me the Jesse King Art Award!
In high school I spend my days in art
There my teacher introduced me to ArtStart.
A summer program paying one to paint
Money? For Art? Something I wouldn't have a complaint.
Awards night came, graduation day went
Another art award, I was super content.
A job, a job, for a career
All I like to do is art, so it was clear.
Three years gone by and still I'm here
At Humboldt State, hoping the end is near.
Art Education is the major
Finishing in the next year and a half is the wager.
After that it's off on my own
In hopes of making it as an artist, one that is known.
