BIOGRAPHY
Danny Winkler is poster designer, painter and freelance illustrator, ex-publisher of Tiki Lounge Magazine, guitar player and the "nome de plume" of Danny F. Criminal artwork .
Longtime member of the German underground music and art scene as musician, performer/promoter, and poster illustrator; Danny's art reflects what's hot in current trends.
Inspired by todays underground art movements, comics and animation of the early 1960's (Marvel, Hanna-Barbera) his designs for professional and underground clientele reflect retro and popular themes.
As publisher, his first run of Tiki Lounge Magazine was an instant success, selling out all issues, as well as being named #1 Fanzine of the Week. 2006 he is co-founder of the art magazine Low.
Danny resides in Dresden (Eastern Germany) and continues his pursuit of music and art projects.
