| I have always loved drawing and I definetly don't draw as much as I should. I am at a point in my life where I relly want to try and do something with my art. I enjoy doing portraits mainly in pencil and I love the reaction of people I do work for. That is what it is really all about for me. Using what talents I do have to make someone else smile. |

| BIOGRAPHY: |
| Ted is a native Hoosier: born and raised in Indiana, he attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago, Ill and the Art Institue of Ft. Lauderdale Fl. in the 1970's. His artwork has grown from traditional watercolor to dreamlike surrealism, taking on a differnt adventure and energy to each viewer. What one might see as death in a painting has been seen as birth to another. His studies have included Metaphysics, Native American traditions,Holistic Health and earned his degree in Naturology from the American Institute of Holistic Theology. Asked about his work, Ted replies, "I basically put down on paper what everyone has felt at one time or another, good or bad."
Ted has worked as a graphic designer and in the screen printing industry for over 20 years, but drawing and painting is his true love. After living many years with and overcoming clinical depression he learned how to express himself through his art, painting what he was truely feeling inside, taking life's ups and downs and re-creating them on paper for the world to see. Using vivid colors and symbols he captures the pains and joys of daily lives. Today he is still a painter, father, husband and mental health advocate educating the public about depression, mood disorders and teaching that there IS life after depression.
"After you have faced death more than once, life seems rather silly." Ted Gillespie |

| BIOGRAPHY: |
| For the last seven years I have been photographing my family. Initially I set out to create environmental portraiture with psychological insight. The first images were relaxed, natural and uncomposed, capturing an unfettered moment in time. But as the work grew I began not only to capture things as they happened but instead started to create moments that were deliberate and constructed. I wanted the photographs not only to be portraits but also portrayals of the socio-economical reality of the everyday working-class suburban family. Without playing into stereotypes of depravity or the glorification of the poor working man, I try to create moments in time that seem natural and spontaneous. Instead of realism, the images are intended to portray the heightened reality of one’s memory or imagination. |

| BIOGRAPHY: |
| Ingrid Vance Aubry is a graphic designer and photographer who has combined her two loves into a unique form of photographic art. Her technique involves digital photography and manipulation and multiple layering of images on the computer, resulting in dreamlike and fanciful photo collages some describe as “out of this world."
"My inspiration comes from the exquisite forms of flowers and foliage. The excitement they generate, my background as a graphic designer and photographer, and my own faintly shadowed, quirky, off-the-path view of the world come together in my images. Some of my work is straightforward photography, some is highly manipulated, and some involves the application of real pressed botanicals layered on top of my photographic art (which I call “photanicals." I sometimes incorporate interesting found objects to create a touch of whimsy. These are the pieces that please me most, and that others seem to find most memorable." |

| Dan Grissom is an artist, musician, and graphic designer currently residing in Austin, Texas. He is originally from the small town of Nebo, Louisiana, where he lived until the age of 18. He attended Northwestern State University earning a Bachelor̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s degree in graphic design. He then went on to earn a Master̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s degree in painting and printmaking from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is currently working as a graphic designer while painting and making music when he is not working.
Dan̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s band, ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Åsome say Leland,̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâàa folk orchestra of sorts, is about to release its second album of all original music. They play in Austin and surrounding areas regularly.
In his artwork, he enjoys creating surreal, implied narratives. He often uses the imagery in old photographs that he collects as a starting point for these narratives. Creating multiple images and sanding down through layers and layers of paint, he treats his imagery similar to the way the human brain treats memories. Some things are vague or unfinished or don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t really make sense, some things are very distinct and vivid. His paintings are left open-ended, so that each viewer can read the paintings differently, bringing their own ideas into the implied narrative.

 |
| BIOGRAPHY: |
| Ti Tolpo Bader is an artist interested in portraiture, the beauty of nature's vistas, and sculpture. She has been a full-time studio artist since 1986.
Ti was exposed to the artist's life and the freedom of expression while growing up in the family studio of parents Carl and Lily Tolpo of Chicago, Illinois. She started drawing and experimenting with various mediums at an early age. Ti also posed as a portrait subject for many of her parents studio projects, thus understanding portraiture from the point of view of the sitter. The family would take annual summer-long painting and camping trips to Yellowstone and other National Parks. During these expeditions, Bader developed her love of landscapes and animals. Ti has lived on the Eastern Seaboard, the Midwest prairie, and in the high regions of the Rocky Mountains and now resides in Prescott, Arizona.
Using portraiture, Ti reveals the subject's inner self through facial expressions and figurative gesture. Her life experiences in dance, music, entrepreneurship, and culinary cuisine give her an insightful world-view. In her landscape painting, she is drawn to the expressive qualities of nature and the beautiful vast vistas of the land. These expressive qualities of nature involve a personification of natural forms, which lends a human quality to her landscapes.
For over 20 years, Ti Tolpo Bader has created commissioned artworks throughout the United States and parts of Europe. Her portraits have been shown at the Freeport Art Museum in Freeport, Illinois. She has been featured in the Rocky Mountain News (7/01/2002 Lifestyles/spotlight), and has participated in juried art shows in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Colorado.

| Sinisa Saratlic was born on October 25, 1954, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He graduated from University of Sarajevo, Department of Architectural Studies, with B.S in Architecture.
Sinisa travel through world of art begins at his early age. Sketch book filled with ideas and intricate drawings was his best friend throughout his childhood. His talent was recognized, and rewarded ever since elementary school. Sinisa's art work became important component of his school exhibitions and competitions. At age 15 his first painting is sold.
Sinisa's infinite thirst for experimenting in expressing his artistic personality helped him create variety of works in different mediums and styles (drawings, paintings, graphics, composition. He received strong academic training in perspective drawing, compositions and history of the art and architecture from his professors, which were well known artists and masters in their professions.
Paintings from period of 1979-1992 combine ideas taken from his national heritage, European history, romantic landscapes and architecture. In that period Sinisa's original paintings were inevitable part of galleries from Sarajevo, Belgrade, Dubrovnik, Korcula and other cites.
With the start of war in Bosnia, Sinisa and his family had escaped from Sarajevo, saving their bare lives and leaving everything else behind, including Sinisa's artwork. Everything disappears in disasters of war. From 1992 to1997, Sinisa with family lived in Belgrade where they began their new life.
In December of 1997 Sinisa was able to move to the United States to begin a new life as both an artist and architect. His first work in America doesn't go by unnoticed, and Sinisa takes home awards form exhibitions in St. Augustine, Florida. That inspired him further, and every free moment that Sinisa had, he used it to paint. Soon enough 24 hours in a day became insufficient for his inspiration and ideas.
New ideas, horizons, and new temptations brought Sinisa a whole new level of inspiration, and formed unique style of his artistic expression. Quest for a Ideal Beauty and studying human emotions, takes him into a contemporary portrayal of a woman and
feelings.

| BIOGRAPHY: |
| Early Music Career...
I was born Lora Lee Williams in Jackson, Michigan on August 21, 1961, although Michigan was not to be my home for long. At the age of four, my family started The Williams Family Band, and soon after we were traveling full time throughout the United States and Canada. While making music, singing and playing the drums, performing for audiences in every part of this country, I began to develop an understanding of people, and all the wonderful diverse cultures of our land. I also began to realize the connecting link of music that we all feel. Through my music, I was able to touch the hearts of the young, giving them the opportunity to dream of a life different than their own, and I was able to touch the souls of the older generation by transporting their minds to a place in their younger lives when they were full of energy and a sense of forever. All of this was possible through the words and music of songs.
A Pause...
After fourteen years on the road, I settled in Northwest Arkansas, put music on hold, and began my married life. I followed the dreams of my husband, and worked side by side with him in a business that repaired and sold electric motors. After just two short years of marriage, my husband was diagnosed with Crohns disease. Although for years he was able to continue to work, his quality of life reduced each year. During this time I found comfort and fulfillment in discovering a talent for woodcarving. In 1985, I joined Woodcarvers of Northwest Arkansas and participated as an exhibitor, show committee member, and juror's assistant. I was exposed to many forms of wood craft. In 1998 my husband was diagnosed with Non HodgkinÃÆÃâÃââÃÆââââ¬Ã
¡ÃâìÃÆââââ¬Ã
¾Ãââs Lymphoma, and for two years we fought this ruthless cancer. He passed away in August of 2000.
Time To Re-Evaluate...
Following his death, I began to reconsider my life, and the path that I was following. I now understood that life is not always long, and that dreams should not be left undiscovered. I knew immediately that I would return to music, and quickly resumed that part of my life. I changed my name. I started a band called Lady Blues with two other women, all at a point where we were redefining ourselves and our lives. The wonderful world of music became more inspiring than ever to me, as I watched the three of us grow within ourselves, and allow ourselves to express our love of life through songs.
The Journey Is The Reward...
I found love again with a wonderful woman, Luna. Soon after, I followed another life dream. On January 24, 2002 our daughter Haylee Nicole was born, and her adoption became final 10 days later. After her birth, I no longer desired to give the motor business the time and energy that it required. It was time to sell it and allow myself a chance to explore other possibilities.
Throughout my childhood I had benefited from an unusual but enriching life experience education but had no formal schooling other than correspondence courses through the fifth grade. Not willing to be defined, or confined, by the conventional, I ignored my horrible lack of educational background and decided at 43 to go back to school. In January of 2005, I enrolled at Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado. As I advanced through each studio art class, alongside traditional and non-traditional students I began to realize a gift for teaching and at the urging of my professors have focused on obtaining an MFA in order to teach sculpture at the college level. I have studied with many wonderful artists, sculpting in wood, clay, wax (for bronze), and stone.
In June, 2007, we made Portland, Oregon our home. Portland's music and art culture are a perfect fit for me. I continue to pursue my degree at Portland State University, work, sculpt and make music.
Thank you for your interest in my journey so far.....

| As a child, magicians and magic acts fascinated me.
There was something about the illusions they created that captured my imagination. I want that same vivid sense of illusions to be central in my artwork.
Today, all of my work creates the illusion of movement and three - dimensionality. I achieve these effects by juxtaposing hard-edged color patterns that disrupt the normal process of vision. Some shapes of color may seem to advance and then recede and others appear to pulsate in waves. It is a passion of painstaking, semi-scientific approach to painting based on the manipulation of optical devices, and which depends on subtle color gradations, systematic chromatic harmonic lines that are painted by my steady hand - eye co-ordination.
I hope my work will stimulate and provoke a positive emotional response in the viewer̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s mind just like the magicians did when I was a Child.
Being a self taught artist, the direction my future work is taking is working with wood and other materials. I hope, is to further explore these successful techniques, and to
Consolidate an identity marked by vivid, colorful,
Captivating visual imagery, and optical illusions, which will
Intensify the playground for the viewers mind.

What happened was, some lady paid 3 times the amount I priced it for. The piece never made auction. I entered my first juried show in May of 2005 in Castroville Texas. I competed against different people who were in various art societies and previous award winners. I ended up getting first place in my first ever juried show. Perhaps it was because my art was in a league of its own. Its very original. The same piece got 3rd in the October show. The piece is called "Multipussity". On May of 2007 I became an award winner again. Although I did not place, My most symbolic and strongest piece, "The Raven Within the Cat" got honorable mention. This piece is shown on my avatar. |
