| STATEMENT |

| My work is a hybrid of materials and techniques driven by larger conceptual questions of cultural icons and gender identification. I am interested in the relationships that people have with objects and how this radically differs between the sexes. I transform objects in a variety of ways, usually working in multiples. My hybrids have ancestry in the traditional mounting of trophy game heads infused with the decorative kitsch of a grandmother’s figurine collection. |
