If a call to artist is advertised by a municipal government body (a city) with specific requirements listed to enter shouldn't those specific requirements have to be met by the applicants to have his or her submissions considered by the panel? Is it ok for the panel to disregard those advertised requirements?

It was somebody that Weisman knew. This is how the majority of thefts happen. Somebody knew he had this art work, and then they made and elaborate plan, and made off with Richard's booty. (Usually Booty is a five letter word for buried treasure, but I thinnk it still works for hidden treasure as well.) Speaking about Booty, did you know that Andy liked Truman Capote's booty? It's a different kind of booty, but I think it works for this thought.

This is great... I love Dutch Masters! The tobacco blend is smooth yet demanding and sassy. Kind of reminds me of a my last girlfriend. Is Chris from the UK? I am just asking because of the title, 'Art School Wanks!' sounds sort of upper Saxony. ...This might also explain out mutual interest in Dutch Masters! Unfortunately, I am too economically challenged to afford the privilege of a premium blend tobacco. That is why I have started smoking Swisher Sweets. Swisher Sweets sort of have a cherry flavor that remind me of urinal cakes in mens restrooms. Thanks for posting, I am off to read the other two posts.

Dear Artmuller2003, How is Haiti this time of year? It is good that you have found the forum at Myartspace.com, but I don't think you are going to get a whole lot of sales here. (I'm just guessing this... I can't be for sure, but hey, you never know!) This site is chock full-o-starving artists. If you start making money back here, please have your people contact my people and they can do lunch. Lunch is a great way to start off great money making ventures and networking with people who are disgusted with everyday life, and or people. Maybe it is a premium member thing... You don't get admin help and the Apache server crashes for each free profile. I bet that's it. It's always a money thing. It's why I am not a rich and famous artist. You have to have money to be rich. I just depressed myself. I am poor and depressed and I can't upload my images to a gallery of my choice. I would probably slash my wrists right about now, but I can't afford X-acto blade refills. I thought about starving myself to death, but that doesn't work because I just get hungry thing about starving. Maybe someone will read this who knows an admin and tell them to contact their people. Then maybe their people can contact other people to do lunch and then maybe have a meeting about how to fix the uploading problem here. It sure would be nice. Maybe their people who know people could contact me and take me out to lunch. I bet they are on vacation. That's what people with money do... They go on vacation. I could use a vacation at one of those places that have the girls who step on your back and make things pop and snap in your body. Damn, I'm hungry again.

I can't find the contact button for an admin when something is really funky on my profile page. Here's the problem; I wanted to submit some images to the Aqua art Miami show... SO I created a gallery in my profile with some images and I attempted to upload and now I have HTML/Apache server errors and then attempting to delete duplicate images does nothing. Anyway, I uploaded images to my library, but I can't seem to upload to a gallery page. Maybe somebody can push a button on the other side of my monitor to get this thing working again. I would appreciate the help. Thanks.

I am currently having the same problem as Charline and experienced Ken's problem the last time I added images. I've yet to find any actual Help pages on this site, just a "duh"-eliciting tutorial. I keep trying different browsers, clearing caches, starting over again and again... and occasionally it works. However, we artists end up with many wasted hours-- myartspace must look into these uploading issues.

I am having the difficulty of after posting 5 images and going thru ALL the appropriate tag lines, now when I choose Finish Gallery without music, the window comes up indicating and HTTP status 500 "description The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request." and of course if I choose "cancel" EVERYTHING I uploaded & tagged will be GONE!!!! Of course there is VERY LITTLE "TROUBLESHOOTING" procedures on this website for myartspace.com or even nyaxe.com!!!!! So I'd LOVE TO HEAR WHAT THIS MEANS & WHAT MY NEXT STEPS OF TROUBLE SHOOT SHOULD BE!!!! Thanks!

Most describe Andy Warhol to be the father of advertisement, he discovered Edie Sedgwick one of personal favorites people in general, and worked with Velvet Underground. It's to my understanding that his paintings were stolen form a home a few weeks back. Here is more information from the NYTimes. "The valuable collection included 10 silk-screen paintings of famous sports figures, among them Muhammad Ali, Chris Evert, Jack Nicklaus and O. J. Simpson. According to investigators, the artwork was on display in the dining room of Richard Weisman, a businessman and art connoisseur whose well-known collection was featured in a book he published in 2003, “Picasso to Pop: The Richard Weisman Collection.” The paintings are about 40 inches by 40 inches each, and were created between 1977 and 1979." Opinions, or words on past Warhol work?
