Introducing Chris aka Airplays, the latest artist to grace these pages. He’s also the first artist to have his work featured in our new look online shop, we think it’s amazing (his art!) so take a peek.
With a keen interest in youth subcultures as a teenager it was graffiti that first drew Chris into a world of art. Having spent time competing with a classmate to see who could sketch the best tags and pieces it was GCSE Art that introduced him to wider creative and artistic world.

His inspiration and influences range from Delta the Dutch Master to M.C.Escher the, ah, Dutch master. The writings of Aldous Huxley & Hermann Hesse. Oodles of Graphic Design and plenty of Music, he presents the Act Now show every other Monday from 10pm-12am on brap.fm.

He is probably best known for his ‘Art School Wanks’ sticker, which has caused plenty of laughter but more amusingly made a few people recoil in disgust. Get yours at the Airplays Emporium. You can find these paintings and more for sale at our online shop now.

This is great... I love Dutch Masters! The tobacco blend is smooth yet demanding and sassy. Kind of reminds me of a my last girlfriend.
Is Chris from the UK? I am just asking because of the title, 'Art School Wanks!' sounds sort of upper Saxony. ...This might also explain out mutual interest in Dutch Masters! Unfortunately, I am too economically challenged to afford the privilege of a premium blend tobacco. That is why I have started smoking Swisher Sweets. Swisher Sweets sort of have a cherry flavor that remind me of urinal cakes in mens restrooms.
