Encouraging Diversity

I believe that it is an artist's responsibility to bring to people's attention what we as a society need to do to make a better world. As the world gets smaller the importance of diversity is more important than ever.

It used to be that countries were so far removed from one another's societies, however, that has changed with telecommunications and the relative ease of travel. My belief is that we have to become a little less patriotic and a little more diverse in order to survive and live in peace in this world. Artists make statements and through their work relate our times for future history and I feel that it is very important to create pieces of art that stimulate debate, curiosity, an emotion and hopefully make people think. Thank you for your attention.

Diversity

This is a painting done in collaboration with Angelique Hellriegel, we both believe that it is very important to have a diverse society and that we should encourage governments, people and children of all nations to join together in different activities.
