This painting brings to our attention the many different materials we use during our lives, the feathers, sand, sponges and shells represent nature; cookie cutters, egg box, corks, bottle tops, cup cake molds and tin foil represent food and drink; materials, buttons, sequins, embroidery threads and semi precious stones represent house furnishings and clothing; cork, hardware, washers, wire, sandpaper, mosaics and mirrors represent construction; plastics, foam, ropes, cocktail sticks, paper clips, and necklace represent commerce; steel wool and scourers represent cleanliness; balls represent play. Most of these things used properly give us a green environment.
