BIOGRAPHY
I was born and raised in Switzerland and have been encouraged by my creative parents to draw, paint and craft all my life. I have a Bachelor of Art Degree in Interior Design and Decoration/Styling.
In 1994 I moved from Switzerland to Dallas, Texas where I studied art for three years at the Collin County Community College, the Plano Recreation Centers, and with individual artists and organizations to help me find my niche in the art world.
I like to build my own canvases and frames in my wood and metal workshop. I create works in oil or acrylic paint with lots texture and use of multi media. I paint my subjects with realism and attention to the use of color and value, or I work abstractly where texture and color is the subject. I often cut and weld metal sheets to incorporate into a picture.
