1. Artists retain all ownership rights to their submitted images. However, myartspace reserves the right to use the images of all applicants for promotional purposes involving the website or competition for up to 2 years. CatMacArt and MYARTSPACE are not liable for breaches of copyright by the entrants.
2. CatMacArt Corporation will pay
up to $1000 each to 3 winning artists to transport art to and from Miami for the
show. Artists are responsible for coordination of all shipping from the show location in the event the
art is unsold and returned. The selection of the shipping carrier
will be at the discretion of CatMacArt Corporation.
3. Works exhibited must be available for sale.
Myartspace.com will assist in accurate pricing of your art. The
financial relationship for art sales will be from the retail price
for the art sales: 60% artist, 40% myartspace.com. Payment from
sales will be issued within 3 weeks of sale.
4. Myartspace.com will unpack and repack work, although the
utmost care will be taken during this time. Myartspace.com is
not responsible for any damage to your work or portfolio.
Artists are responsible for insuring their work through the duration
of the shipping and exhibition period.
5. We strongly recommend that the artist send framed work for exhibition. Framed work is more likely to sell, and given show time constraints, a better framing solution is best to be provided by the artists. Myartspace.com reserves the right to hang and
display art at our own discretion.
6. Winners will have up to 24 hours to confirm their
participation in the exhibition and 3 days to coordinate with the
shipping company provided by CatMacArt Corporation to get their
work to the exhibition location.
7. International artists are responsible for all
customs’ duties and customs’ fees regarding shipping and handling of
your art work to and from the exhibition location. It should
be noted that shipping from overseas to the United States may exceed
the $1000 allocation provided by CatMacArt Corporation.
Charges in excess of the allocation are to be paid by the artists.
8. CatMacArt Corporation maintains an online store called the NewYork Art Exchange, (www.nyaxe.com). CatMacArt Corporation has the right to list and sell all submitted work of winning artists and finalist at the Miami Exhibit and though its online store. All sales of original work represented by NYAXE Gallery through NYAXE.com will be at 50% commission.
9. CatMacArt Corporation has the right to create reproducible prints of work submitted and have available for sale both online and in the physical Gallery. Prices for the reproduced work will be determined by CatMacArt Corporation and in-line with market prices for similar art.
