Unlimited High-Res Uploads (75MB)

MyArtSpace can import both JPG and TIFF images up to 75MB in size. Our image delivery technology takes the larger images and stores them away for high-quality printing and then creates “screen-resolution” images for display on the site. This increases performance of the site and protects the artists from others downloading their very high quality images.

Unlimited Galleries & Portfolios

Portfolios are like “folders” that can be used to further organize work in a large gallery. There is no limit to the number of images included in a gallery, and no limit to the number of galleries or portfolios you wish to create.

Music on flash Galleries

MyArtSpace provides a simple way in which you can add music to your online gallery. Music adds a powerful dimension to the viewing experience.

Narrations on Flash Galleries

You can add voice annotation to your viewing experience. You can walk a viewer through each piece of your work.

You can attach a video to your online gallery. This can be a stand alone work of art, or a supplemental insight to your work.

MyArtSpace FLASH galleries can be played back on the site or link the player to your site (ie Myspace, blogger, or your own site).

Sell Original Art

MyArtSpace has developed the New York Art Exchange (NYAXE), an eCommerce venue for selling your original work, printed work, or digital work. MyArtSpace manages the sale of original work through a well-designed escrow system that protects both the buyer of the work and the seller. Artists are responsible for shipping their work, and can profit handsomely by selling directly into a large base of interested buyers.

Sell "Print On Demand"

The New York Art Exchange (NYAXE) is the eCommerce side of MyArtSpace. Artists can sell original work, OR, if they wish, sell “Print On-Demand” printed work.

The artist uploads a very high resolution image of their work, and then sets up some pricing expectations for the work. When a customer orders a print, they can choose the size, and treatment (framed, matted), and have it delivered from our very high quality printers in days.

For the artist, they do NOT need to build up an inventory and risk their money. They simply sit-back and collect the cash for each sale.

Commission on All Sales

The New York Art Exchange (NYAXE), the eCommerce part of MyArtSpace, provides support for the buying and selling of fine artwork on the internet.

Artists that choose to represent themselves can set up a “personal store” and begin offering work for sale.

Sell Stock Photos/Images

The New York Art Exchange (NYAXE), the eCommerce part of MyArtSpace, allows the sale of original, printed and digital work.

Artists/photographers are free to upload high-resolution digital images that can be downloaded and sold to interested parties. These images would typically be used in some advertising or promotional campaign.

The artists is free to set their own price points for the non-exclusive digital rights to their images.

Watermark Option

MyArtSpace is a huge advocate on copyright and ownership rights. Our company blog has dozens of articles on this topic. As such, we offer a watermark option for artists that are concerned that someone may try to “steal” their image from our site. We have a number of ways in which we protect the artists work, which includes providing a watermark option.

Purchase Protection

Buyers of contemporary art on the internet have some natural trepidation and concern about the work they are purchasing whether it be $100 or $5000. With our escrow system, we seek to protect both the seller and the buyer from some of these risks.

CatMacArt Corporation, the owner of the New York Art Exchange and MyArtSpace, hold the money from the purchase of original work in an escrow account and distribute money to the artists to ship the product.

Upon receipt and acceptance of the work, the remaining money is distributed to the artists. Should the buyer NOT be satisfied with the work, he is obligated to ship the product back (and has thus paid shipping in both directions), and the artists receives their work back.

The New York Art Exchange (NYAXE), the eCommerce part of MyArtSpace, allows you to set up a personal store to sell your work. The store can be a “free” or “starter” store. This store type has a limit of only 5 pieces of work to be shown, and the store owner pays a 15% commission on the sale of work.

25 Free Listing on NYAXE.com e-commerce

Premium Members, automatically receive an upgrade from a “free” or “starter” personal store to a “personal” store where they can list up to 25 of their pieces of work in the store and pay a 12% sale commission rather than 15%. A personal store has a $60 fee per year, and that fee is waived for premium service members.

Personal Web Address (URL)

For those MyArtSpace members that are “premium service “ subscribers, they can set up a personal address (URL) for their profile page.

Organize Order of Images

Premium users can re-order the sequence of their images in a gallery, their portfolios in a gallery, or the galleries on their personal profile page.

Bulk Upload - (Coming Soon)

Premium Services subscribers will be able to upload multiple images at once this Spring with MyArtSpace. A user can select multiple images, or upload images in a particular directory. Standard Subscribers can upload an unlimited number of images, but only one at a time.

Professional Scrollable Gallery (HTML)

MyArtSpace offers different types of online display galleries for its premium users. As an alternative to the standard FLASH gallery, we offer a vertically-oriented HTML gallery which shows a slightly higher resolution image in the gallery.

Ad-Free

Premium Services subscribers have their galleries and personal profile pages free from advertising. Standard users have advertising as a way to help defer the costs of the site.

Visitor Statistics

Premium Service users can receive weekly and monthly updates on the amount of traffic (people) visiting their personal profile page and their individual galleries. These statistics provide essential feedback to understand how your outreach marketing program is working.

Enhanced SEO (Google, Yahoo, Ask.com)

Premium users have dedicated personal profile pages with specific URL (web) addresses. Because of the way the premium pages are constructed, and because we provide additional visibility for the premium subscribers, they are more likely to be found through search engines than standard users.

Premium Membership Placement

MyArtSpace has a special presentation section for its premium subscribers. This makes it quicker and easier for gallerists and collectors to find the premium subscribers and raises their visibility in the community.

Premium users can select a piece of their art work and send it out as an“eVite”, or online invitation to an upcoming event to their network of contacts.

Personal Press Releases

Premium Service members can create online press releases to announce shows, exhibits, awards or other activities by the artist. These press releases are stored online on our website, and they are picked up by the search engines such as Google and Yahoo! to increase the online visibility of the artist.

Post Calendar Events

If an artist has an upcoming event, he can post it on the MyArtSpace site under their personal profile page in your event log. This creates SEO visibility for your events.

Create Catalogs of Your Work

Artists or Gallerist that are participating in or launching a show can quickly and easily create an online catalog or work in PDF format if they are a premium services subscriber. The catalog can be created with the click of a button and provides for many options.
