| Kanji Drawing #3 |
| The Kanji drawings seek to combine my interest in oriental calligraphy with conceptual and minimalist uses of text. The words are mapped onto the sheet of paper as a building material. The actual words are "written" backwards and subjected layering and erasure common to my working process in all media so that the text has a chance to be seen as a visual element, rather than merely read. |
| Dimensions: 24 5/8" x 39";
Medium: mixed media on japanese paper. |
