Detailed Description: Work Statement: The Time in Between What does time look like, the temporary time between the past and the future? This project studies spaces and places that are made by man for man. Spaces that are meant to host people and their needs for gathering, relaxation, leisure, transportation, from playgrounds to sporting arenas and basketball courts to airports. They are all spaces that we associate and perceive with people, often crowds. How do these places look with the people missing? Between the memory and anticipation of man, the space takes on a different feeling, mood, and it seems, physical structure. These attributes are shared with indoor and outdoor spaces, large cities and small towns. It gives us a glimpse of what life would be like if all of a sudden the people were gone. Sometimes clues and hints are left as to what took place there last. Other times we have to solely rely on our imagination as to what will happen there next.
