Lanny Bergner

Lanny Bergner holds an MFA in sculpture from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a BFA in sclupture from the University of Washington in Seattle. He has an extensive solo and group exhibit history. Click HERE for more details.
     

Peter Heij

lostlands
Peter Heij, born in Utrecht in 1960, lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Attended the Royal Academy for Art and Design, Den Bosch from 1982 to 1987 specializing in painting. Works during this period, and thereafter: figurative, expressionistic and even abstract, and continuing the realism with which he originally started in his youth and in the period before academy, now enriched with the knowledge gained at the academy. Has regularly exhibited in the Netherlands and other countries worldwide.
     

JenMarie

New Paintings Fall 2007
JenMarie comments "The innermost part of my practice as a painter is an ongoing fascination with decay and erosion in the environment which evolve around the intricacies of color, fragile structural elements, and the delicate process of gradual deterioration. This immersion with destruction has instigated a sustained engagement with the process of painting. I have come to know my immersion for the melancholic thrives on my attachment to past experiences which evoke a feeling of sadness. "
     

Connie Noyes

Which Way is Up?
Connie Noyes is an award winning painter whose work has been exhibited in galleries in Atlanta, Chicago, Washington, DC, Los Angeles and San Francisco, and abroad in London, Florence, and Malaysia. In the 4th Annual Florence Biennale in 2003, she took a 5th place prize in painting from a field of 500 painters. Ms. Noyes's work is in public and private collections including that of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she earned her MFA.
     

Alona Rodeh

Born in Israel 1979, Alona lives and works in Tel Aviv. M.F.A student in Bezalel Academy Tel Aviv, B.F.A graduate at the Bezalel Academy of fine art and design in Jerusalem. Owner of the Rabinowitz scholarship 2007, America-Israel scholarship and the Tel Aviv City Council Prize in 2005 and 2006. In the last 2 years collaborating with composer Rona Geffen, creating Audi-visual projects presenting in different galleries & art spaces globally: Tel Aviv museum, Makur Gallery N.Y, Rosenfeld Gallery Tel Aviv, Viennabiennale, Bezalel Gallery Tel Aviv...
     

Fabio Savoldi

Fabio Savoldi was born in Brescia, Italy.
     

Matt Mahler

mahler’s work
Born and raised on Long Island, Matthre currently reside in Queens, NY. He holds a BS degree in Art Education from Hofstra University and is a candidate for an MFA from Queens College.
     

Leanne Eisen

37th Street
Leanne Eisen is a photo-based artist who lives and works in Toronto, Canada. She holds a BFA from Ryerson University and has participated in an extensive number of group shows and events.

Sarah Maple (2)

"Sarah Maple has been called many things due to her art-- some people have lashed out at her with vulgar anonymous messages, others have praised her for her bravery and humor, some have called her the heir to Tracey Emin's throne. Gordon Cheung

"Gordon Cheung is an emerging star of the British contemporary art scene. Gordon's art reveals an apocalyptic vision of our globalized world. His work captures the chaos of our contemporary lives in a surreal manner that reminds one of psychedelic hallucinations. Gordon has been featured in several publications-- including, Frieze, Art Review, and Flux-- and has exhibited internationally..."

Whitney Wood

" Whitney Wood received a BFA degree in Painting from Auburn University in 2005. While earning her undergraduate degree, Whitney studied with the University of Georgia in Cortona, Italy. Following graduation from Auburn, she studied with Rhode Island School of Design in Pont-Aven, France. Moving back to the states she interned with Paul Kasmin Gallery and studied under painter Larry Poons in New York City. Whitney's change in environment has always been an inspiration to her. Currently, Whitney lives in Atlanta, GA, where she is working on her MFA degree at SCAD Atlanta, for painting..."

Sotheby's stock takes a tumble "Sotheby's shares had their biggest- ever one-day drop after a Vincent van Gogh and other paintings failed to sell at an Impressionist art sale, prompting concern that credit-market losses will batter the art world. " Bloomberg 11/08/07

No takers for $35 million Van Gohn "A Vincent Van Gogh painting has failed to sell at an art auction in New York. Sotheby's was hoping The Wheat Fields would fetch up to $35m (£16.7m), but it failed to reach its undisclosed reserve or attract a bid over $25m (£11.9m). " BBC News 11/08/07
